Amy Burgess

Founder

MBA, specializing in Organization Development

Amy Burgess built Green2Green Exchange and its sister enterprise, The Mentoring Company, through the strength of the Mentoring Circles tool that she and her companies developed and pioneered. Amy has built a diverse clientele ranging from Fortune 500 companies to academic institutions across the country and around the globe.

She holds a Masters in Business Administration specializing in Organization Development from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Amy's expertise is in group facilitation, experiential teaching and system change. She has studied group dynamics and identified the elements critical for people to move forward in their professional lives. Amy has owned several small businesses, has designed and delivered presentations at conferences for the public and private sectors, and has worked extensively in the community.


Julie Manhard

President

Ms. Manhard's seven year tenure as President of The Mentoring Company, expanded the organization's client base and secured strong sales even amidst the current turbulent economic times. As a business consultant, Ms. Manhard has been consistently recognized for her ability to quickly assess the needs and direction of organizations and determine high quality client-focused solutions to business challenges. As a facilitator, Julie builds strongly bonded and cohesive learning communities. Educated as a psychotherapist, Julie is an expert in small group development and has directed a successful psychotherapy practice for more than 22 years.


Thomas Windham

Consultant

Ph.D. in Descriptive Psychology

Tom Windham, mentor, coach and public speaker, is nationally renowned for creating award winning mentoring communities. A highly regarded advocate, practitioner and advisor, Tom integrates intellectual and experiential ways of knowing into programs that enhance individual, group and organizational behavior.

Tom's commitment to establishing a trusting environment for the mentoring relationship enables participants to collaborate, discover and utilize strengths and resources to their and their company's advantage.

Tom's career track includes the appointment, Senior Advisor to the Director of The National Science Foundation, Director and Principal Investigator for the National Center for Atmospheric Research SOARS Mentoring Program and CEO of Denver's Park East Comprehensive Community Mental Health Center. Tom's numerous recognitions include The Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring for underrepresented populations, the Boulder Daily Camera Pacesetter Award for Science, Medicine and Health, and The American Meteorological Society's Charles E. Anderson Award.


Ellie Gilfoyle

Consultant

Professor Emeritus, D.Sc, Doctor of Science

The 1996 induction of Ellie Gilfoyle into the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame celebrates a leadership style that combines insight, wisdom and sensitivity. At Denver-area health centers, Ellie created supportive environments that empowered others to work together toward collective outcomes. The seeds of inclusive leadership had been planted. As a Professor, Department Head and Dean in Colorado State University's College of Applied Human Sciences, Ellie identified a leadership style that effectively motivates individuals and organizations. She formulated a regional think tank devoted to the study of women and leadership from which The Institute for Women and Leadership was founded. Through her passion for inclusive leadership, Ellie empowers others to discover their own leadership strengths.

In 1991, Ellie Gilfoyle became Colorado State University's first woman Provost and Academic Vice President, overseeing all academic efforts at the 22,000-student university.

Ellie has been associated with Green2Green Exchange and The Mentoring Company since 1999.


Lynn Pollard

Consultant

Ph.D. in Adult Education and Organization Development

Lynn Pollard is a Management Consultant specializing in strategic planning, leadership development, team building, and communications. With over 18 years of experience, Lynn offers practical solutions for everyday problems by creating pathways for positive change. Lynn's work is influenced by her commitment to masterfully meet each client's needs. Her goal in all aspects of her work is to assist individuals, teams and organizations in improving productivity and quality of service. She is certified in Mentoring Circle Facilitation, Masterful Facilitation, Appreciative Inquiry and Executive Coaching with a style that is engaging, humorous and challenging. Producing results is her bottom line.


Dawn Monroe

Consultant

Organization Effectiveness

Ms. Monroe has extensive experience as a Human Resource Manager, Training and Development Manager, and Organizational Effectiveness Consultant in three different industries over the past 27 years. Dawn's most recent work included the role of Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness Manager for Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing Group. Dawn has expertise in forming effective face-to-face and virtual teams, as well as unique and successful management development programs. She is a strong advocate for cultural transformation and is highly valued for the positive effect she has on those around her. Dawn is dedicated to offering programs that provide lasting growth and development and has been committed to helping colleagues, at every level, reach their true potential.
